On Wednesday night Mr Botham refereed the first tag rugby match of the season between Bolham Primary School and Tidcombe Primary School. Despite the dreadful weather conditions and the state of the pitch the two teams played extremely well and I am delighted to be able to inform you that Bolham were the final winners with a score line of four tries to three. Next week the team will face Castle Primary School.
Youth Speaks, the journey continues!
Our intrepid Youth Speaks team set off for the North Devon and Bude finals in Barnstaple on Saturday 8th February 2020. A very nervous but excited team arrived with their families at Grosvenor Church, ready with their improved speeches. The competition had noticeably improved and all the teams were excellent. It was too close to call, however we are pleased to announce that Cara, Joshua and Levinia won again!
They are now heading to Saltash on Saturday 14th March for the Youth Speaks District Final. Wish us luck!
